![]() ![]() But the Sandals team relaxed me underwater with the hand signals that we've learnt, and they always had my back. My first couple of dives were reacclimatising for me - so I used way more air that others, bobbing up and down and missing some of the action that we all crave when diving. Big boat dives are split so I've never had more than a group of five with a divemaster leading us. ![]() I have had dives with just two of us tourists up to a boat of 16 of us, and at all times I felt that the pros had their eyes on me. As a novice diver (30 under my belt now) I'm always very wary of the potential dangers of the sport, and refresh my knowledge each time after a diving gap. All the crew, from the captain to the divemasters, all those on board and in the dive shop have been nothing short of having bucket loads of professionalism and fun. We returned to Sandals Barbs this year very excited about the all-inclusive diving that's on offer. I've got just one dive to go and can't wait. I'm now writing this review on my balcony at Sandals Barbs after 10 dives over six days. I started diving at Sandals South Coast a year ago and completed my Open Water PADI certification whilst on resort there. ![]()
